Rev Crystal’s Experience

Rev. Crystal Yarlott is a non-denominational minister. She was ordained in 1989 by Unity Institute. She has been the wedding officiant for over 500 couples.

Rev. Crystal has over 26 years experience leading wedding ceremonies.

Rev. Crystal has over 27 years experience leading wedding ceremonies.

Rev. Crystal respects all spiritual traditions. She believes everyone has the right to be spiritually supported, regardless of past or present religious affiliation.

Rev. Crystal retired from leading Unity of Traverse City in November of 2011. Since then she has focused on creating meaningful wedding ceremonies and helping couples enter their marriage not only happy about being together, but developing greater understanding and skills to communicate and relate long-term to one another.

  • Customized wedding ceremonies reflect what’s important to you. She seeks out what is important to you and incorporates your values into your ceremony.
  • A selection of options assembled and tweaked over many years. The packet contains of a variety of vows, readings and additional ceremonies like the Sand Ceremony or Wine Box Ceremony.  Bring your own selections, too!
  • A seminary-ordained minister with counseling skills, and commitment to spiritual principles.
  • Flexibility. Rev. Crystal will travel to your location. Whether you have a Traverse City beach wedding or one of the many other beautiful venues in northwestern Michigan, she’ll be there. Travel includes the following counties: Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau.
  • Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, or iChat communication. Great alternatives for in-person ceremony planning meeting.
  • Any contact needed as your wedding day approaches
  • A written copy of your ceremony is available upon request
  • A  picture of you on your wedding day on the website and Facebook!
