Recommitment Ceremony — Love That Lasts

After years of marriage, a couple experiences a deeper love for each other that they want to formally affirm. The Recommitment or Vow Renewal Ceremony is a touching and meaningful way to state your love and affection, whether you have been married for five or twenty-five years. And what better place to hold this ceremony but in any of the many lovely beaches or venues in Northwestern Michigan.

We now offer a very fun and affordable option for Vow Renewal Ceremonies. Little Weddings Everywhere has gardens and top notch venues plus a ceremony with Rev Crystal during midweek time periods. More information at Little Weddings Everywhere.

An Excerpt From Our Recommitment Ceremony

“When you first joined hands and hearts, you did not know where love would lead you. You promised to love, honor and cherish one another through all things. Life has surely brought you both wonderful blessings as well as the challenges that come with the joining of two people in love. You have fulfilled your promise. And God is smiling!
Love is more than verses on valentines and romance in movies.

We know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favorite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams.

Without love, we merely exist. With love, we truly begin to live!”

Advice for a couple in one of our recommitment ceremonies

As you continue on your journey together, I ask you to remember this advice:

“Let your love be stronger than your anger. Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend than to break. Believe the best of your beloved rather than the worst. Confide in your partner and ask for help when you need it. Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship. Give your spouse the same courtesies and kindnesses you bestow on your friends. Say “I love you” every day.”
